Lohwell SM supplies 13 eco-friendly cleaning carts 'Farming Boy' to Gangnam-gu

On the 19th, Lohwell SM delivered 13 eco-friendly cleaning carts, 'Farming Boy', to the Gangnam-gu Office and gave training on how to use them and on safety.

The delivery followed Gangnam-gu's selection of Lohwell SM among six companies through a "cleaning cart selection review committee" in December last year. Gangnam-gu has been modernising its eco-friendly cleaning equipment since 2023, and the 'Farming Boy' introduced this time will be used to clean narrow alleys that ordinary vehicles can hardly reach.

Unlike conventional internal-combustion cleaning equipment that runs on petrol and other fuels, the 'Farming Boy' supplied by Lohwell SM is eco-friendly, zero-emission electric equipment and is expected to help cut greenhouse gases and curb fine-dust generation. Through the supply of such eco-friendly cleaning equipment, Seoul plans to protect the health of workers and citizens and to improve the safety and convenience of the city's environmental workers.

Lohwell SM, with 17 years of tradition, manufactures electric carriers with pure Korean technology and domestic parts, offering excellent performance and stability. It has obtained certification as an agricultural-machinery powered carrier, and two models are currently registered on the Public Procurement Service's Narajangteo, so deliveries to public offices are increasing.

Farming Boy has been delivered to a wide range of institutions, starting with senior-delivery carts for apartment complexes in Seoul, Busan, Incheon and Gyeonggi, and including meal-serving carts at Seoul Detention Center, Gwangju Prison and Daejeon Prison, Jeonnam Provincial Office, Suncheonman Garden, Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome, Jeju Hallim Technical High School, Gyeongsan Science High School and Pyeongtaek Hyomyeong Middle School.

After Haenam-gun and Seocho-gu Office, Gangnam-gu is another cleaning-cart customer for Lohwell SM, which is leading the market for multi-purpose electric carriers usable in agriculture, public administration and industry.
