[Yeonggwang, South Jeolla] A Farming Bao 2.0W Agricultural Electric Vehicle Delivered as a Heartwarming Gift to Become a Reliable Pair of Feet for a Mother in the Countryside

We visited Yeonggwang County in South Jeolla, a place warmly welcomed by lush green fields and refreshing sea breezes.

Whenever we meet parents who have spent their entire lives caring for their children, working until their legs and knees are worn out from farming and trips around the neighbourhood, we cannot help but feel a pang of sadness.

The mother in Yeonggwang whom we met this time also said that she had struggled to walk back and forth to the fields carrying heavy loads on her head and back.

With the sole thought of providing her with everything she needed, as we would when caring for our own parents, we drove along the village roads of Yeonggwang with a Farming Bao 2.0W electric utility vehicle loaded up to support comfortable travel and safe farm work.

1. Arrival and Unloading the Vehicle

We parked the cargo truck in the village yard, lowered the lift, and carefully unloaded the Farming Bao.

As soon as they saw its refreshing blue colour, the mother and father who was beside her ran barefoot out into the yard.

Oh my, the colour is lovely, and it looks really sturdy!

After first showing them the official name listed on the agricultural machinery identification plate, “Agricultural Power Transport Vehicle Farming Bao 2.0W (rated load capacity 200 kg),”

we handed over the new vehicle after carefully inspecting it to ensure it had not a single scratch.

2. One-on-One Driving Instruction at Her Own Pace

No matter how good an electric vehicle is, it must not be difficult for an elderly person to operate, so we put the greatest effort into teaching her how to use it.

After helping the mother settle comfortably into the driver's seat, we continued explaining everything step by step.

Intuitive Controls and Driving Buttons:

We explained how to turn the ignition key and switch between forward and reverse, as well as the feel of operating the accelerator and brake pedals.

Safety Warning Lights and Side Mirrors:

We adjusted the side mirrors so she could clearly see behind and beside her, and explained how to operate the roof-mounted beacon light when driving slowly along village roads.

220V Household Charging:

We repeatedly reminded her how to use the dedicated 220V charger and the precautions to take—after returning from the fields, she only needs to plug it into an outlet in the yard.

Mother, there is absolutely no need to hurry. Take your time and let's make one lap around the yard together first.

Even the mother, who had been nervous, gradually relaxed as she held the smooth steering wheel.

3. Driving on the Village Farm Roads

After becoming reasonably familiar with the feel of driving, we went on a test drive along the village road beside the rice paddies that she needs to travel every day.

On country roads, rice paddies or waterways often run directly alongside one side,
so it is easy to veer toward the wall or edge at first.

Walking alongside her at the same pace,

Mother, please do not rush. Slowly guide the handlebar back to the centre.
Just keep to the middle of the road
so you do not move toward the wall.

we guided her way with our voices.

She was nervous at first, but after turning a few corners,
she soon found her balance and drove smoothly and steadily between the fields.

Now you will not have to carry
heavy loads when going to the fields.

they said, waving brightly.

Seeing those smiles of relief is what makes us feel rewarded as we travel from place to place.

Key features of the Farming Bao 2.0W, which will become the feet of the mother from Yeonggwang

Four-season canopy & wide front windshield:

Protects against wind, rain and harsh sunlight, helping safeguard seniors' health throughout the year.

Wide tyres designed for field-bank roads and farm tracks:

They support the vehicle steadily even on unpaved dirt roads or narrow farm tracks, reducing driving fatigue.

Cargo bed with a rated capacity of 200kg:

You can comfortably carry sacks of fertiliser, farming tools and harvested crops.

Convenient household 220V charging:

It can be economically and easily maintained by plugging it into an outlet at home, without any additional equipment.

We sincerely wish the mother from Yeonggwang many safe and trouble-free journeys with her newly welcomed Farming Bao.
