[Gokseong, South Jeolla] Delivery Story: Farming Bao 2.0 as a Reliable Pair of Legs for Mother’s Farm Work
We visited the home of an elderly resident in Gokseong County, South Jeolla, where the foothills and clear skies create a welcoming atmosphere.
As the weather grew noticeably hotter,
their child contacted us, worried that their elderly parent might hurt their knees or back while carrying heavy farming tools and bags of fertiliser to the fields.
Inspired by the family’s warm devotion to caring for their parents from afar, we headed to Gokseong with the same care we would show our own parents.
1. Arrival at the Site and Unloading
A cargo truck arrived at the mother’s home, with its yard and rice fields stretching out in front. We carefully unloaded the Farming Bao 2.0W, which had been securely fastened during transport, onto the level ground in the yard.
When the mother saw the calm yet refreshing blue vehicle in person, she said,
“It looks much sturdier than in the photos, and the colour is beautiful!”
She welcomed us warmly.
2. One-on-One Operating Guidance at Her Level
Even the best electric vehicle can feel intimidating if an older person is not familiar with it, so we began with patient, one-on-one instruction tailored to her level.
After helping the mother settle comfortably into the driver’s seat, we explained the car-style steering controls, how to switch between forward and reverse, and how to use the foot brake,
then went over how to read the instrument panel and connect the charger, one step at a time.

We repeated the explanations until she became completely comfortable with the controls. At first, she said,
“I’m not very good at handling machines...”
but after trying it a few times, she said,
“It’s much smoother and easier to handle than I expected!”
She smiled.
3. Test Drive Around the Yard and Village Roads
After the instruction, the mother took the wheel herself and drove around the yard and the narrow road in front of her home.
Even on Gokseong’s village roads and dirt paths, the vehicle delivered a steady, comfortable ride thanks to its excellent grip and cornering performance.
She had struggled to transport heavy loads by handcart whenever she went to work in the fields, but now her face lit up as she said she could sit comfortably under the canopy and travel along the paths between the fields.
The family member watching beside her also
“She’ll have a much easier time walking to the fields now,”
they said with relief.
4. Key Features of the Farming Bao 2.0W for Older Users
Here are the key features of the Farming Bao 2.0W, designed for older users’ safety and convenient farm work.
Canopy to protect against sunlight, rain and wind:
It blocks direct sunlight, sudden showers and dusty winds, allowing users to travel along the field paths even in bad weather.
A 200 kg cargo bed that handles even harvested crops:
It can comfortably carry fertilizer bags, farm tools, and heavy crops, and its three open sides make loading and unloading convenient.
Wide tires that drive smoothly even on bumpy farm roads:
The wide tires provide excellent traction and reduce jolting on dirt roads and unpaved field paths.
Easy charging from a 220V household outlet:
Without any separate charging equipment, simply plug it into a household 220V outlet in your yard or shed to start charging immediately.
As I was leaving after finishing the explanation, you waved and said,
“Thank you so much for coming all this way and teaching me everything.”
Your words stayed with me.
We hope you stay healthy and safe throughout the coming year with your new Farming Bao.
